ACORD Certification for GL and Personal Auto
Agoura Hills, CA - Appulate, Inc. announces that it has received the official ACORD certification for its Personal Auto Policy and General Liability Policy messages.
The company has been using the ACORD XML messaging standard for more than 18 months, but today learned that it has received the official stamp of approval from ACORD.
"This is an added assurance that we are on the right path", said Nic Bryson, Director of Product Management. "It further paves the way for our mission to be an industry leading data bridge between agents and carriers".

Appulate gets invite to present at 2010 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum
Agoura Hills, CA - Appulate, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been invited to present at the 2010 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Las Vegas.
Appulate's Chief Technology Officer (Dimitri Nikouline) will join a panel that includes Scott Montney (Cochrane of Co) and Angelyn Truetel (Truetel Insurance). The panel will demonstrate the use of Appulate's Uplink technology in a real-time submission and then be available to answer questions about data bridging and the use of ACORD XML standards.

Back Office Processing Launched
Agoura Hills, CA - Appulate, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has added back office processing functionality for its carrier and MGA customers. This product is designed to reduce internal data entry by automatically extracting ACORD forms and converting them to ACORD XML.
"With the product, a carrier or MGA could take a form submitted to them by fax or email and extract the data without the need to re-enter it", said Dimitri Nikouline, Appulate's Chief Technology Officer.
Once the data has been extracted and converted to ACORD XML, it can be consumed by the carrier / MGA's portal or underwriting system.
"The industry is hungry for greater efficiency and this product caters to that need", said Nikouline.

Appulate Presents to ACT, AAMGA and NAPSLO

First Notice of Loss (FNOL) is Launched
Agoura Hills, CA - Appulate, Inc. announces the launch of its capability to bridge FNOL from retail agency management systems.
Using Appulate's Uplink™ (virtual printer) technology, a retail agent can automatically send the FNOL to carriers. The carrier receives the FNOL as an ACORD XML message that they can then push into their claims system, portal or other system for consumption.
Appulate already has one licensed carrier using FNOL and has received demand from several others.

ACORD XML UPLOAD A SUCCESS FOR CELINA INSURANCE COMPANY
June 1, 2009 – Celina, OH – Celina Insurance Company is now receiving ACORD XML upload from its constituency of retail agents. Using a vendor provided product, Uplink™, retail agents can now submit ACORD data directly from their agency management systems for both homeowners and personal auto lines.
The Uplink™ technology is provided by Celina's vendor, Appulate, Inc. and gives agents a way to virtually print ACORD forms directly from their agency management system. The data is then uploaded and converted to ACORD XML so that it can be consumed by Celina's retail agent portal.
Since the project began in February, many of Celina's agents have installed and are using Uplink™. "The feedback from the agents has been very positive", said Rob Shoenfelt, Chief Information Officer, Celina Insurance Company. "The technology is really simple to use which is why the agents are embracing it so quickly. Appulate's prompt service is refreshing and we are glad to have the positive partnership", commented Shoenfelt. Uplink™ can be downloaded directly from Celina's retail agent portal. The download takes less than 2 minutes and there is no cost to the agent. Additionally, Uplink™ is compatible with any retail agency management system on the market.

Appulate Wins ACORD Innovation Award
Orlando, FL - May 17, 2009: Appulate, Inc. received the ACORD Innovation Award at the 2009 ACORD / LOMA conference. Dimitri Nikouline, Appulate's Chief Technology Officer, graciously accepted the award at a lunch ceremony on Sunday.
