Agent Submission Gateway

Empower your agents with a simple technology they can use to make electronic submissions directly from their Agency Management System. This unique product will work with ANY Agency Management System on the market. Within Agent Submission Gateway, there are two transport mechanisms available: Uplink™ Virtual Print Driver and standard Email. Both rely on Appulate's data conversion engine to convert ACORD forms from the Agency Management System into ACORD XML.

Uplink™ Virtual Print Driver

The Broker/Agent installs Appulate's Uplink™ Virtual Print Driver, which they use to 'print' ACORD forms from their Agency Management System directly to you. The data is received as ACORD XML and can be used to populate your portal, rating system or underwriting system.

Email

The Broker/Agent can email their submissions to [YourMarketName]@appulate.com. Appulate catches this email and runs it through its data conversion engine resulting as ACORD XML.

Back Office Processing

Eliminate data entry in your back office without altering the submission workflow for your agents. Using the PDF attachment you currently receive via email, your underwriters can either make a virtual 'print' or forward the attachment via email to Appulate. Our technology converts these forms to ACORD XML and electronically enters them into your system. Appulate can also provide web services for your internal development team to build an automated solution to convert ACORD form PDFs into ACORD XML.

Agent uses their agency management system to print the desired ACORD form with the relevant client information.

The Appulate Uplink™ uses a secure username and password verification to transfer the data to the Appulate servers.

The Appulate servers read the transfered information, convert it to structured data, and send to receiver's server.

The receiving server uses XML transfer of real data in underwriting or rating system.

Whether the PDF you receive from the agent is a native PDF file or if it's a scanned version of the form, the Uplink™ can recognize and process the file through our data recognition engine or through our OCR process. Nothing is different for the user, we automatically recognize and handle each case appropriately.

Best of all, the Uplink™ works with any agency management system on the market today!
